Wellbeats Partners with Children's Cancer Association

Wellbeats, a LifeSpeak company is partnering with Children’s Cancer Association to support its “Every Minute Counts” campaign by providing free use of Wellbeats’ on-demand virtual wellbeing content during the month of April.

Employers that participate in Children’s Cancer Association’s “Every Minute Counts” campaign will enjoy free access to more than 1,000 fitness, nutrition, and mindfulness Wellbeats classes throughout April. The campaign translates employee activity minutes into monetary donations that support efforts to use music, nature, and mentorship programs to inspire joy, relieve sadness and anxiety, and reduce isolation for children hospitalized with cancer.

“Every minute counts for kids coping with cancer or life-threatening illness,” said Jack Pipkin, vice president of development at Children’s Cancer Association. “This impactful partnership with Wellbeats empowers participants to improve their own wellbeing while raising vital funds to ensure young patients have access to JoyRx Music to lift their spirits and help them heal.”

“The link among physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing is inextricable, especially when battling a serious condition,” said Jason Von Bank, Wellbeats president and CEO. “At Wellbeats, we believe everyone should have access to wellbeing support that fits their life and their personal interests, no matter their age, current fitness level, or state of health. That’s why we relate so strongly to Children’s Cancer Association’s mission of bringing joy to children during a challenging time.”

The partnership is the latest in Wellbeats’ philanthropic endeavors. Wellbeats has partnered with HopeKids to provide Wellbeats streaming subscriptions to HopeKids families across the U.S., and a similar partnership between Wellbeats and M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital provided free access to the Wellbeats product for patients and their families while undergoing inpatient or outpatient treatment at the Masonic Children’s Hospital.
